Any decent pads around the £50 -£80?
« on: July 22, 2014, 11:04:45 pm »
Hey up guys,

I know most people run M1144 or DS2500, I may splash out for them, but just wanted to know if there is anything worth buying around the £50-£80 with similar or just slightly less performance.

Thanks

I have had several very poor experiences with ebc pads including but not limited to the pad delaminating from the backing plate

Mike

Ebc.... Might as well put 2 bits of tofu in as brake pads!

M1144 pads are good ~100 quid

I had more than tofu coming out my backside when they failed on the m25 whilst braking for the usual traffic

Yes... alex is still doing that deal, and they are on the shelf. Anyone who doesnt buy the pads and lines off him needs a checkup from the neckup!

(baring in mind, the pads are worth just over 100 and the lines are worth ~45-50)

Would I be correct in thinking they are braided lines? Waiting for my brakes to come back fk rom refurb and toying with the idea of replacing discs and pads for OCD

Its just a way of life.

Should still work with 340mm discs.
