Head light washers.
« on: July 26, 2014, 10:53:54 pm »
Well, found out today o have head light washers fitted. Took my bumper partially off to replace my wings and noticed i had washers.  :happy2: always thought it was just blanks and never checked.

Now my question

Is there any way i can switch them on and see if they work, i have never noticed if they have worked or not?

Turn car and headlights on then pull the windscreen wash stalk. First pull will squirt the windscreen and operate the headlight wash. If you pull again the headlights won't squirt for a while

If they don't I would check the 20a fuse located in the drivers side fuse box in the dash

Think they come on every 5th time you squirt the wind screen washers.. A lot of people tend to pull the fuse out as it seems to annoy a few people. As above.. Pull the fuse out and check that its not blown. I noticed i had them a few weeks ago and turned out they weren't working cause of the fuse. :happy2:
