R32 Bumper
« on: July 27, 2014, 08:35:29 pm »
Maybe a dumb question, are you able to fit an R32 grill set to a gti front bumper? or is the R32 bumper one complete piece?
Also, anyone know of any of the best places to find one? not overly fussed if its not genuine.... already have a PPCGB rear bumper

There are a number on ebay after a very quick look!  :happy2:

They occasionally come up for sale on here but not that regularly

Best guess is either R32 owner's club (at least you could get part numbers if you're on friendly terms with someone in the trade) or scour eBay regularly for a deal. I did the same thing with my rear R32, saved about £200 all in by not going to dealer for parts.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

i struck really lucky with the price of my rear bumper already painted in my colour; I guess i'm being a bit too hopeful with saving as much money and striking lucky on the front
cannot make my mind up on either gti front or R32  :stupid:
opinions? Would be changing the red strip of the Gti grill to blue if i was to have the gti front, car is diamond black pearl.
currently got the very standard front end which looks lacking in comparison to rear so something has to be done!

What about the GT Sport front? Same as GTI but grills are different

the slatted front is what drew me to the R32... and i suppose the GT Sport is slatted similarly.
however I'm trying to add some suble parts of blue to the exterior of the car and so i prefer the look of the Gti grill if i was going to have the Gti shape bumper.
Decisions, decisions, i should really get a build thread up soon!

Good point, especially if you want another colour in there. Get one up!
