Is IronX Safe?

Just from looking at other threads I believe IronX causes problems with non stock painted areas such as caliper paint, touch up areas, alloy coatings etc..

Can anyone shed some light on the subject? I painted my calipers only a month ago and don't want to ruin them already.

Also does anyone have tips on how to use it?

Pretty sure its safe mate, considering folk use Iron-X on their wheels, inevitably there will be over spray onto calipers also.

Yes it is fine.
It's very easy to use... follow directions on the bottle..

Can Ironx be used to remove rust and brake dust off the wheel hubs ? I see my front wheel hubs below the discs and where the alloy connects signs of rust and brake dust . Wanted to see if this product Will remove them ?

It can! Was them well first. Spray on and leave for 5 mins and it'll turn purple.

I only had very minor deposits of brake dust that wouldn't budge but this did it!

It removes Iron.
If it's not Iron it won't remove it.

It removes Iron.
If it's not Iron it won't remove it.

Brake pads contain high amounts of iron.

Brake dust will also be made up of iron somewhat so it does help
