Brake upgrades...and cost?

After seeing the Aston Martin calipers for sale on here, I tried to do some research on what else would be required to run them...but I didn't really find what I was looking for.

Say you can pick up similar calipers for £300, what other costs do you need to factor in?

Am I right in thinking that 370mm TTRS discs wouldn't need any extra brackets, but the discs themselves aren't all that brilliant? I also can't find how much the discs would cost.

TFSI_Mike mentioned the 362mm AP discs from AKS, but I can't see anything on AKS's site regarding price for these (I know it's not going to be pocket-money, seeing as they're bloody lovely looking!)

Are the TTS rotors cheaper, but then you need to buy brackets to fit them?

To mount those calipers on a TTRS disc you will need the appropriate brackets which Dave mentioned he had for sale on that particular for sale thread.

You are correct in thinking the discs aren't great. If you have a search on here and the internet in general you will see why.

In regards to prices it’s better to ring Alex as not everything is displayed on his site.

Finally the 340mm setup which is what I have, pics in my build thread…

Price will depend on your start point but the calipers can be had from eBay and forums or new from Alex for £500. The fitting kit including lines, bracket and bolts is £250 and then you can choose whether you run a 340 or 345mm disc. Price will depend on the quality and brand of the disc, much the same with the pad choice.
