Update from last weekend (I really should post these up when they happen and not a week later!).
After putting the white cluster in the only thing that didn't really sit right with me was the steering wheel...so I got a Mk6 one instead. MUCH better.
The big job of the day was finally fitting the RVC I'd wanted ever since my dad got one in his Mk6 GTD. Credit goes (yet again) to
@Eddie-NL for supplying and fitting this for me. Not only does the back of the car look much better with the new style badge, I also have the camera displaying on the RNS510 to keep my inner child happy and it makes parking so much easier! I don't know what I'll do when I get a new car if it doesn't have this feature
(Ignore the filthy car, it's done about 5 trips on the motorway in snow, rain and hail so really needs a clean
)
That's it for now on the big things. I've got some other big mods already in the pipeline but a few months of small tidying up things and saving before the next big one happens I think
