Not updated in a while as nothing has really changed with the car, now that christmas is out of the way I can concentrate on more mods

The car is in at VW for a major service on Tuesday. I was undecided on how important the service stamp was from the main dealer but the car has FVWSH so I bit the bullet and booked it in. I asked the woman on the phone if they could check the cam follower for me and she had no idea what I was talking about so I am definitely going to speak to the technician working on my car!  DSG is 40k of a service due to the recent problem and strip down I had with it.

Future Plans:

S3 brakes to go on (I'm thinking DS2500's or Pagids? Any advice on that would be great!)
RS4 FPRV
HPFP or Internals
R-tech custom stage 2+ progressive remap
Wheel alignment
USB charge port
Mk6 Climatronic unit and surround
Another cold air feed to the filter - I don't know whether to keep it OEM and try hide the duct behind an open fog grill which I don't have or put a hole in the one I have and put in an inlet ducting funnel? However a Saxo came past me the other day with one and it put me right off!

How fast the Mods come is all fund dependant but I always get excited on pay day so hopefully soon  :jumpmove:

Induction snapped off my engine which was bit of a bummer but it was great to see a design flaw and find a solution so I set to on the lathe and  here is mount mk2  :happy2: Just needs a lick of paint, or I think i'm going to wrap it with some protective heat reflective tape.

Went for a great thrash out up to North Yorkshire a couple of weeks ago with my friend and his E92. Was a really good day out and there are some enjoyable roads up there. Obviously he was faster than me but I think when my future mods are on he will definitely have something to worry about! I love how capable my car is against the likes of his!

Here are a few SLR pics from the day out, so much salt on the roads so the cars were filthy! I am in no way a photographer I just put it on auto and point and shot  :happy2:

Thank you for looking and your views on brake pads and the induction feed would be great  :innocent:

Thanks man, like I say I have no idea what I'm doing with the camera, its my friends and it the first time I've had a go with one! I'm sure the pics would benefit from a bit of editing but they are just straight of the camera.

Agreed, the car did look to much better before but it just wasn't practical. I went for a drive the other day and hit a small bump under hard braking and something touched then and that's standard!

Car went in for service today. Dropped it off last night and was pleased to see my courtesy car was a brand fire new Mk7 Tdi. It is a very nice car however the dash creaks and it just doesn't feel as well made as my Mk5. Must admit, I do kinda miss driving a manual though!

Autotech HPFP should be with me today, will be a while before I visit R-tech but I'm getting there with the mods I needs

Snow has been eventful so far, to be fair it's not doing to bad. Your never gonna get the control as you do with a manual but I haven't got fully stuck yet and I'd say there was a good 4" around me.

Having to park half a mile away from my house is far from ideal aswell  :fighting:
