Michelin Pilot Super Sport review:
So recently I switched from these:

The Goodyear's F1's were always a great tyre as many people have said with great dry and wet grip. The only problem I had with them is that they did get a bit floaty in standing water which is suprising given how good they are in the wet generally.
The Michelins though are just better at everything, I've done about 700 miles on them so can't comment on wear and I don't really care about sound or fuel consumption but I can't say I've really noticed a difference in either. As a fast road tyre though they really are quite a bit better than the F1's (which I didn't think was possible without track tyres). They grip in the wet/ dry/ damp/ cold like they're glued to the road and if they do let go its progressive and easy to manage so no 'oh sh*t' moments. I've noticed that if they spin on launch they don't just let go and keep spinning they still catch sometimes and give some traction but without being juddery. There is definitely no 'floatyness' through standing water with these either they just keep charging on with great steering feel and feedback and they're great under very heavy braking somehow still managing to cling on.
So in conclusion they're not cheap but they're worth every penny and get a 10/10 from me so far. The only thing I would be wary of is for some reason even though I got the same size they are slightly wider than the Goodyear's and I had to wind my suspension up a few turns.
I highly recommend anybody who likes to drive properly at least gives these a try on the front axle because they're really a very good tyre.
