Brackets cost more than the callys? :surprised:
Haha yeh I got the calipers pretty cheap, also between the brackets and discs I spent £400 which is what a new set of TTRS discs cost and these are cheaper to replace, lighter and will fit behind and 18" wheel (maybe even a 17).

They're MTEC discs mate, I had them on my R32 setup and they're very good for the money.

Took the car for a nice drive today and then gave it a wash. Also have had the brakes fitted for a few weeks and they are f*cking awesome, they stop hard and fast time after time. Took a few pics since I've done a few bits since my last update and might be one of the last nice days for a few months.

As you can see not much clearance  :P

Cheers

They're C63 wheels, 5mm spacers on the rear. They're not genuine since the real ones are £1500 a set and almost all have had some sort of repair or weld since the OEM quality is pretty poor, they are genuine size and offsets though.

Finally got my gearbox oil changed.

That's what 98K old gearbox oil looks like.

Changes feel a bit smoother but could be Placebo. Either way definitely didn't do any harm to get some fresh oil in there and was a very easy job.

Got some pictures of my exhaust, 200 cell sports cat and just one silencer in the middle.

Took my car to Alex at AKS for a service and oil pickup pipe change and put some millers nanodrive in. Got the great service and knowledge I had heard about, very friendly and knows a lot about these cars. He answered all 640000 of my questions

Tried some winter wheels that didn't fit over my brakes

Ended up buying a ceramic coated Revo intake since Alex had one on the shelf
