What budget do I need for Ed30 intake, exhaust, remap
« on: October 14, 2014, 03:50:26 pm »
potentially considering an Ed30 on a tighter budget

however i would like intake, exhaust for improved (increase noise factor), remap for more go
What do i need to budget for these three items, and would prefer to hold out for used intake and exhaust, so what options might there be?

If you just want noise from the exhaust you can get a catback for about £500 -£600 fitted, intake wise EVOMS are £290ish and a stage 1 R-tech map is about £290 I think. But for £1200 odd the car will go and sound a lot better.

As above.  :happy2:

On a Budget then def an EVOMS CAI or if you can be arsed then make your own, a BCS Catback exhaust and a R-Tech stage 1 remap. Can't argue with that. Should see around 300+bhp.

Some intakes may vary slightly as the Gti has a KO3 Turbo and the Edition 30 has a KO4, best to check first just to be 100%

The intakes for K03 and K04 are different but exhaust is the same I believe.
