RNS510 Confusion

Hi - after holding the setup button on my HU It came up with DAB I high lighted it  and it said there is no signal or satelites.

Does this mean it has DAB but needs a ariel?

Also looking to update it to I've tried doing research but it just straight over my head and I don't have a clue is there a disc I can buy which is already to go?

I just did the upgrade, easy and straight forward.

I also had DAB listed when pressing the SETUP button for longer, but as far as I can make out, if you have a star on the top right button you have a DAB radio if you have the speaker and I, you haven't.
