New clutch and DMF which one???
« on: October 19, 2014, 01:29:27 pm »
As title ,

Looking to order a new clutch and Dual mass flywheel , one problem online when I type my reg in , it brings up 2 different Dual mass flywheels  both are LUK , but one has a friction control plate and one doesn't??? Which one would I need?.

first one , without friction plate , I notice engine code is BWA which I think mine is being  a 2008

Second one with friction control plate
Engine code AXX  it says.

anyone know which one I need? or both suitable whats the difference in with and without friction control plate?

here is the clutch I was going to get as well ,

Any help appreciated.

I ordered a clutch kit from them yesterday. I have a BWA and ordered the first flywheel. The 3 piece clutch kit you linked isn't shown for the Leon FR, but buying a 2 piece and a CSC works out much cheaper. Unsure why....

Word of warning - i checked my delivery over yesterday and they sent the wrong flywheel bolts. Seems they're just as bad as Euro Car Parts for providing incorrect parts (i ordered the right ones!)

Thankfully everything else seems to be correct / correct part number
