Morgens ED30 No. 1871 - New suspension & audio!

I've noticed that I say "my boyfriend" far too often.. I should really start doing things to my own car. But aye, his name is Adam.

So, Adam ended up doing the oil and filter change. I wasn't feeling up to learning yesterday but it really needed done so I had to beg for a little while  He showed me what to do at least so I'm not completely in the dark for next time! Bought the cv boot kits on Friday too so once they're fitted that's all the mechanical repairs completed (touch wood)

Gonna put it in for it's "winter check" at some point mid-November just to see if there are any more surprises for me just before Christmas! I swear this car is gonna bankrupt me

Hadn't seen one on those wheels!! So gorgeous I'm definitely unsure now, I really enjoy that.. Also jealous of your headlights

Made a deal with Adam that if I bought a porsche oil cap he'd swap me his R8 oil cap... So that's his oil cap arrived today and I'll hopefully have the R8 one by Friday! Yay for pointless modifications 

Also ordered the 6 piece chrome-tipped switches from China.. I've heard they're actually of a decent quality comparable to OE so we'll see when they arrive! It's the little things in life

RAMAIR had a cheeky wee sale on ebay so I picked an intake up for just £155! Bargain to me :) received it in last night and that's it all fitted now! Car feels so much more responsive which I didn't expect at all

Half of my engine bay was missing so this has made a massive improvement




I don't know why but most of the plastic was snapped :(



All done :)



Also fitted the porsche oil cap while I wait for my R8 one :)

I honestly have no idea what one it is! I just seen an intake for £155 and pressed buy it now haha

Sounds lovely, really wooshy and the occassional flutter  Makes me tingle inside. Car also feels like it pulls far better now but I'm putting that down to the fact my air intake was barely existing previously? I'm not good when it comes to engines and mechanics so I don't even know if it was a factor but I swear it drives better!

Fair enough! I'm considering getting one (literally just for the noise so I can be like a kid at Christmas every time I put my foot down!) but I also quite like the look of my engine cover...

In terms of being quicker, it is possible as far as I'm aware but I think most people say it will have little to no difference in most cases.

I'm sure you can modify your engine cover and have both? that's what I would do because the noise is lovely! My engine cover had to go anyway haha
