Smokers pack

hi guys

as sad as it sounds I'm trying to get my car to the highest VW spec i can. I know whats included on the smokers pack and have seen a few different sets of ashtrays on ebay.

If possible can someone post some picture of there front and rear ashtrays

Mine has that pack as standard from factory. If I had the chance it wouldn't, though, as I have no use for it.

Never took a picture of it but in ebay you can find similar items:
Front (mine is anthracite and has a lighter):

I can't get my head around how the rears fix. As on the picture it looks like they have cut outs and not sure were they clip into?

The rear one has its support fixed in the door card. I think you can see it in the picture. The ash tray itself is removable so it can be emptied.

The door card must be specific as well.

thats what I'm thinking. if you get a chance can you post some pics of yours and ill see if it worth trying

Ok, should be able to post them in the afternoon.

Looking at this pic you can see that you can change the part where the ash tray fits, so you just need to remove the door card, remove your part and replace with the one with the ash tray.



Now I'm thinking about doing the opposite of you and remove my rear ash tray.

Smokers pack would put me right off buying the car if im honest as even when i used to smoke over 6 years ago i never would have smoked in any of my beloved cars

think you have missed the point. as i said at the start of the thread, I'm trying to get all the optional extras the car didn't come with

Ones in mine have never been used, I didn't know they were an option
