Installing gti sideskirts

How have people here installe dthere sideskirts after they were colourcoded? i took the black mounting stripe out and washed it etc so it's clean when i getting the skirts back after 2 days. Just want to know how people have done this.

When I installed mine I bought the fitting kit which pushes into the holes under the sill once you've removed the rubber plug and then the double sided sticky foam that is already attached to the skirt.

how does the skirt go back on the black plastic stripe?
