Retro Fit Cruise Control

Hi guys,  i ve bought the kit to fit cruise control to my 2005 gti,  has anybody got a step by step guide to fitting it? i ve got the instructions in the box but i like to look at photos too lol....

only issue is that i have a revo Map on the car do i have to remove the steering wheel to take the stalk off? as if i remove the battery for the air bag i loose my map :(

Steering wheel WILL have to come off.

may sound stupid, but cuase i dont want to disconect the battery cause i will loose the map, is there anyway apart from disconecting to get around this??

When the guy fitted CC on my old Golf he didn't disconnect the battery, BUT I would highly recommend it.  The final decision is yours, do you want to lose your map or have a blasted airbag?

yer i think to loose the map and have it put it back on will be the best option.
