My rear wiper sometimes just keeps going without letting up, the only way to stop it is by removing the key from the ignition and starting all over again, seems to reset it...

As for the original poster, have you checked to see if the bulbs are okay? sounds daft but i was fixing a car the other day which had water in the rear light cluster, whilst digging the bulbs out that were rusted in i remembered it was still plugged into the loom and all of a sudden it sparked and obviously blew a couple of fuses, but it also blew the filament in the other bulbs i hadnt removed on the top row, took me ages to work out why they wouldnt work, just saying if youve been playing with the electrics or somethings been shorting it could affect anything.
