Help identifying this colour?

Hi guys, I'm after the climatronic surround to match the new vents I bought off ebay, they're from a 2004 golf and don't appear to be black or the stainless steel colour people have said are the only options, they're more of an anthracite colour. As you can see in the pics below the comparison between the black surround and the vents i've got don't match + don't appear to be anywhere near as light as the stainless steal?

isn't their a number on the back the last 1 or 2 letters refer to the colour in most colour option parts

The only part number I can see anywhere on the vents is 1K0 819 743 B, I've been told there's only 2 colour options for the surround trim on etka, V80 and 1QB but neither of these match as shown in my first post.

Right I think that one of them is 'Black and the other is 'Satin black' Now I need to identify which is which so I can try and locate the correct one. Anyone any ideas, that is if I'm right about there being a difference between those two colours?
