GTI Back Box on GT sport 2.0d (140)

Hi There,

I have obtained a genuine second hand GTI Back Box which I want to fit on my (140) 2.0 Diesel. I understand that this can be done with some minor modifications. Does anyone know exactly what is involved?? (I already have the GTI valance)

do a search using the "search" tab, there was a thread on this a while ago. very simple. get you local exhaust place to just cut yours off and cut the GTI one in the same place. they put a collar and done.

did this to my old mk5 GT and it made it look a load better

recommend colour coding as well, make a massive difference

Caan you upgrade the lower splitter or is it easier to replace the whole bumper for a GT 170 version?

Get the lower splitter from the GTI. Much better than the one from the GT 170. :wink:

done this on mine ages ago & still fine,i just never got the lower painted due to it being gt 170 & not gti lower.
