For those of you using snow foam do you use it every wash or only when really dirty
also just like to say how impressed i am with Gtechniq G6 perfect glass it is by far the best really easy to get great results

I use it every wash but leave it to dwell longer if the car is dirtier than usual 

Been using autobrite magifoam through the autobrite lance and am very happy with the results

I only use it when the car is really dirty, which is nearly every time!

But I always use a PH neutral one.

Every time here too, even in the summer when it's just a little dust I still use it. It would just feel wrong not using it now before I wash it.

Its a pre wash aid.
so only should he really used when necessary.
If the car is just dusty then i wouldnt personally. But if its covered then it does help remove stubborn stuff prior to hand washing.

Why? Apart from maybes wasted product but I'm guessing because it will affect the durable of the wax/sealant for the worst ?

The idea of snow foam is to take dirt particles off the car so that you don't rub them into the paint with your mitt when washing. So if the cars just dusty then although there's not much point it does still help a bit, but its far more effective when the car is dirtier obviously.

When the car is only dusty some people just snow foam/ rinse and then dry the car so you don't have to touch the paint with a mitt but personally I never do this as its never properly clean.

In the summer if it's not rained and you've only driven your car say around town for the shopping then there's absolutely no need to snow foam your car :) especially if it's well waxed and protected.

but strictly speaking you're just using unecessary product and degrading your LSP a little bit quicker than necessary. rule #1 is always use the least aggressive method possible

Only problem with not snow foaming is then you can't take loads of pictures...

I would say that if the car is only slightly dusty/dirty AND well protected, you can wash it by only snow foaming and rinsing with a power washer. This in my opinion is the least aggressive method because there is no need for mechanical washing which will always cause more or less scratches/swirls even using the finest mitts made of lambs butt. Drying is done by gently placing and lifting large MF-towels on the paint and not dragging them towels on it. Also many snow foams are totally LSP-safe with correct dilutions.

any shampoo is going to degrade LSP ever so slightly. saying it's LSP safe just means it's usually ph neutral(ish). you can be PH neutral and still an aggressive cleaner, carpro reset shampoo for example.
