Retrofit xenons too high?
« on: January 12, 2015, 07:21:06 pm »
Basically bought a GTI that had the xenon units retrofit prior to me buying it, and I'm getting bombarded with flashes. Obviously it has no self-levelling and the in car adjuster doesn't work either. Is there a way to manually adjust the beam?

I'm a bit concerned come MOT time the beam pattern is going to be completely wrong, don't really want to go back to reflectors as the output is great.

Thanks for the help.

Need to find a friendly local with VCDS to turn the drl indicators down a tad too.. looks like a Christmas tree. :(
