MFSW and highline clocks fitting.

Going to be fitting one of these to my car soon and was wandering if my steering wheel controller will fit.

The car is a 07 golf tdi sportI have midline clocks with steering wheel controller part number 1K0 953 549BC. I already have cruise control fitted along with a RCD 510 DAB radio with Bluetooth and MDI. I also have a controller with the part number 1K0 907 530K and have had no battery drain issues. Current clocks are part number 1K0 920 963B.

I have already sorted a wheel out and a loom for inside the steering wheel, will I need a new slipring too, also will these need to be coded in?

Also, can I just swap the buttons onto my current steering wheel, or will I need to use the new one? Just thinking of saving time messing about changing wheels.

Trying to get everything together to be sorted so it's just a day of plug and play.

BC won't work the buttons.

I have a highline one coming out that may be available depending if someone doesn't want it with the MFSW I am selling

As long as it is type 2, and has software 1.3 for the mk5, then it is ok. There are a few choices, you aren't locked to one particular type. That Ross Tech link gives you all you need.
