Took me a few attempts at resetting the basic settings and performing the adaption procedure as per Ross Tech, but all resolved in 20 minutes or so.

Just to add, my wheel is also ever so slightly off centre, but it is lined up with the mark on the steering column and indicator cancellation all works fine.  Just a case of getting the alignment done to get the wheel straight again I reckon.

Thanks guys, got it sorted. Took the steering wheel and noticed that the wheel had not been lined up straight with the slip ring. As soon as i sorted that, the steering went light and error lights turned off.

For anyone carrying out this mod, please make sure you line both the wheel and slip ring straight

Thanks
