battery and alarm

just disconnected my battery red first then black, alarm start going off and can not turn it off without connected the battery up again is this normal and how am I meant to it???

Black negative lead FIRST, always. Never remove the red, positive first. :happy2:

As above, Take off the black (negative first) infact you can just take off the negative and put a cloth or something between the terminal and lead.

I did it yesterday and the alarm never went off.

Mine went off the whole time the battery was disconnected.

Pain in the ass as I was doing it at night time haha

I've taken my negative lead off to do work on systems many times without the car alarm sounding, I'd suggest leaving it a while to calm down. :pomppomp:
