Hi Guys - New to the forum!
I recently bought a GTI as a fixer upper... The vehicle needed a new gearbox and thermostat, which I have fitted.
The vehicle drove fine prior to fixing this. I took it to my mechanic and I had a gearbox and thermostat fitted. Upon fetching the vehicle, the engine management light came on and car went into limp mode struggling to rev past 3000rpm or so. Took the vehicle for diagnosing and there were many errors. The technician said the battery was dying and caused many of the errors. I got a new battery installed.
All other errors cleared except the "P2294 Fuel Pressure Regulation Valve Open Circuit" issue. Been reading up on different forums but I'm not too sure what it could be.
Could I get a few pointers on what to check before sending the vehicle in.
Thanks guys
