hi all. Fairly new to gti ownership and so far it's been troublesome!
I have a 2006 5 Dr DSG. Yesterday, whilst trying to sort the broken drivers door wiring harness, the seat accidentally reclined to near on fully back. It isn't 100% reclined but near enough! I've had the seat and the switch off, nothing looks brown or snapped. All other functions work, back and forth, and I can recline further. The lumber also works. What on earth could have happened? Maybe order a new switch and hope it works?
Obviously I can't drive the car as is and need an urgent fix.
