My votex skirts and rear valance arrived yesterday along with my vw racing front arb

Of course i'm an idiot so i test fitted one

Then was time to get the arb and front end refresh on

Fitted

Got a mate round who works for a winscreen company to bond on my rainsensor mount

Obviously needs another 4-wheel allign but the drive home around the twisties felt much more stable

I like this. Very left field!

I remember your white Bora over on ukmkivs too. Seems a few of us have moved on to mk5s!

Quality build, love it!  There's something about understated but very capable motors that I love

The work on that so far looks fantastic! If only VW made something like this from the factory to go along side the zafira vxr, I think it would have took off!
How hard can it be?

AJP - thanks bud, yea bora's long gone but still float about on uk-mkivs  :happy2:

Tfsi_Mike - thanks, i do like to have a car i can 'build' i have an RS4 but you can do barely anything worth while or that you can get stuck into it's so boring.

andybon - i was a little suprised the biggest petrol offering in a touran was the 1.6, fully loaded the thing is useless, been a long time since i had to downshift mid hill climb

So last night got round to dropping the DW pump in

Old and new

Built back up

I refitted and took it out for a test drive and felt good, stronger

When i got back i decided to calibrate pump with VCDS

Took it back out for another test, felt smoother and stronger
