Yeah, we’re luckier than F1 drivers, we still have grid girls. 😆

Thanks man!

I was about to give a bad review for ASTs before the race, but now I can tell that they are one of the best performance mods out there. For street use, better get another set.
At least mine, with hard springs, even at the softest setting it is useless for everyday use, you feel every dent on the road. The harness jumps on the bar, driving me crazy, i'm at the second undertray in 2 months because the car is very low, I can feel some knocking noises when I'm on soft setting and my front left adjusting knob fell off in 1000 km of road use, the remaining rod puncturing one CV boot. This is not covered by warranty, by the way.
On the track tough...they are wow, the car is quickly stabilized between corners, there is no nose dive anymore under hard braking, really good traction and the overall feeling of the car is on another level. Could be that the aero mods are also contributing, but the car feels 911 quick and this gives me a lot of confidence.

A small update:

Because the downforce generated by the splitter started to move the bumper apart from the wing.

Glad you're enjoying the ASTs  :happy2:

The splitter pulls the bumper away from the wing!  :surprised:  It works then  :happy2:

Lovely!  Got any side shots of your car so I can see you new wheels better?  :drinking:

I'll be on the racing wheels again next Saturday, and then on 12th June at Hungaroring. I hope to get some more pictures.  :happy2:

My new DSG clutch is slipping again... :sad1:
I'm a bit desperate now, since race 2 is in 3 days. There's no way i could change the clutch again that quick and the problem seems bigger then that. MRC DSG remap is not holding my torque with the OEM clutch.
Tomorrow I'll change the DSG map to Dynodrome, it's the best thing I can do until Saturday. It's a greek company specialized in drag racing with DSG. They are stating 600+ nm on stock clutches with their DSG tune guaranteed.

I hope you can sort it with the new DSG tune. Other option is to reduce a bit the torque where slipping is happening.

Yeah man, with a good boost controller I could limit the torque on mid rpm where it is really savage, but with mine I can only lower the boost everywhere and loose a lot of power.  :sad1:
I'm really hoping that the new tune will solve this. They say "We are the only company guaranteed that the stock clutches not sleep, you shouldn’t worry about"

Can you get your money back if the DSG slips? I had mine slipping before tweaking the tune to the TTE420. It was brutal. :signLOL: Now it's progressive and I don't think it slips anymore.

I told them that I will not pay if the DSG slips. The problem is if it happens again in the very near future.
