I thought maybe it was the DV but I checked that today and it is fine. Also been upgraded to rev G by previous owner at some point.
Any thoughts?

10 psi is about right for a standard GTI from memory

Ignore the HP reading, totally inaccurate. I did a few back to back runs and mine varied from 150hp to 300hp

Definitely not 18 psi. 10 psi sounds more like it. I have a Polar FIS Adv. but I prefer to have the boost pressure in bar. It does at least 0,6 bar, which is almost 10 psi. I still haven't had the chance to read the boost at WOT.

There is a similar post elsewhere. Max boost on stock K03 13/14 psi see log below.

If you have VCDS i would be interested to see the specified vs actual boost.

I don't think these apps are very accurate.

Today I tested the max boost at WOT and it sit at 11,17 psi (0,77 bar). I still have to fiddle with PolarFIS Adv. to give me a good value for the specified boost. It was much easier to set that parameter on my unit in the diesel Golf.

Maybe I have to look into the Measuring Block that gives that parameter and ask the support tech from Auto Polar if they're choosing the right one.
