I'd have the S4 personally. Yeah having a RWD car is fun but realistically getting the back end out on public roads will eventually land you in trouble. The AWD ability of the Audi will put the power down nicely which will be even more effective if you choose to go to stage 1 etc... Wouldn't buy one in silver though, something more exclusive to make it stand out a bit from a regular A4.

Beemer.  Those Audis are a bit dull to drive and its spec is a bit naff.  No Xenons is an immediate no for me.  The beemer is nicely spec'd.

Also the Audi is end of life and the 3er is still only halfway through its life.

(but then I'm biased as I have a fully loaded F31 330d xDrive PPK  :innocent:)

Oh and edit - the adaptive headlights are utterly brilliant, we call them Dancing Lights on the bm forum (these are led but xenon work the same):
