Id just go for tight. Cant imagine its that critical, as its not subject to any great force.

Magnetic sump plug installed.

New pickup pipe in.

My arms were a bit numb after 6 test fits of the sump. I managed to get a thinner line as i went on.

Sump is in bolts torque to 15nm??

When my arms recover i will finish it off.

Did you move your boost pipe clip @dazza or is it loose?

The boost pipe clip is disconnected and i used a bungee to keep the pipe out of the way.

Just bought some  15x5mm neodymium magnets to make a mag. sump plug... see if it works.

Ive had the ECS mag plug fitted for some time.  Maybe lining the whole of the bottom of the sump with neodymiun magnets will do a good job haha

Seems a good idea but won't the magnetism pass through to the sump ? Where as the other plugs are insulated against the internal magnet. Will be interesting to see results
