Powerflex anti lift kit

Has anyone had this fitted? Would really like some feedback on your experiences as may be getting it fitted next week instead of a whiteline kit.

Any views much appreciated! Just not much out there on the powerflex version of the anti lift kit.

asked the same question on FB TFSI tuning page, no one on there had tried them either, once i've bought a few other bits on the list i'll be trying them out.

i prefer the modified mount tha the offset bush - seems a better solution.

i'll try and get them on at the weekend, the current stock (genuine) items are 6 months old and trashed, i'm fighting the steering every time i step on the loud pedal

I remember seeing that post about the powerflex bushes, I'm in the same boat. Want to change to them but could t find any reviews on them.

Be good to see how you get on with them, anything will be better than the stock ones!

as long as they don't ruin the ride of the bus, i'm on 225/35/19's with powerflex front wishbone bushes, powerflex db bush, new stock engine mounts, new ball joints / track rod ends / droplinks, VWR front ARB and new AP coils

when 'off power' it drives perfectly normally, smooth, not harsh or crashy at all. really is nice to drive, hopefully these won't make it too thumpy over bumps / drains, i'm very happy with the ride at the mo.

i will update as and when, initial thoughts and after a week or so after they've bedded in a bit.

ok so having used them for mixed driving for 2 days, 50 miles country b roads, 20 miles dual carriage ways cruising and fair share of hooning i'm happy.

obviously there is still wheel spin but a lot less fighting the wheel and it definately hooks up better

they are slightly more harsh (understandably) mainly over manholes and particularly ridges in the road that both wheels hit at the same time but not as bad as i was expecting

turn in is slightly better aswell

car feels more planted and definately more stable under heavy braking

oddly enough the old bushes (6 month old genuine) showed no sign of wear or tears, i guess the compound is just not up to the job

so;
slightly harsher ride
better grip in turns
more stable
almost no squirl under heave braking
almost no more wheelie action
massively reduced torque steer
wheel spins reduced and more controllable

so far so good 

will report back in a week or so when i've put some more miles see how they're settling in

How easy was this to fit?

not too bad on a jack on the floor, old ones took a bit of persuasion to remove.

the hardest part was lining the bolt holes up after, just took a well placed lever bar and a little patience, i think took 45 mins all in including photoshoot 

i would have honestly preferred to use stock bolts rather than the allen head bolts, just makes me nervous if they sieze and you want to remove them will be ball ache.

but so far a very worthwhile mod
