Fitting WALK?
« on: May 17, 2015, 09:10:51 pm »
Can anyone tell me how easy it is to fit the WALK?

I assume it is as follows:
1. Put car on axle stands
2. Remove 3 bolts holing on old unit
3. Force off old unit (this part may take some force)
4. Grease and fit the WALK
5. Repeat on other side

Is there more to it?  I would rather do the fitting myself if it's an easy job.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Just make sure you don't snap the bolts or you will find it does turn into a long job

Is this a common thing? Shoul I be using something other than a torque wrench to remove the bolts?
