Thank you every one Jay the steering controller needs to be changed to the latest one I have 1K0 953 549 CH on order and that has to be used with the version C slip ring which I now have...Ive also fitted the version S gateway,

Darren

Bit of a resurrection this one but with all this hardware will all the buttons on the wheel work and is the cruise stalk unaffected?

Darren doesn't have the CC. But the CC does not work with this for some reason!  :sad1:

Hi Karlos,  yes did every thing on the car myself mate,  not difficult just need to take your time and make sure you don't bend the a/c pipes or damage the rads.

Just 2 pics of the car the full xenon retro fit and the tinted back lights that Garth did for me, Cheers Garth :happy2:

Sorry bad pic

Darren :happy2:

Hi mate the bumper I got from ebay but it was a vw dealer just getting rid of old stock I think I paid £220 for the bumper and all the grills and inserts.

The back lights are not proper R32/ED30 lights but do look good,  Garth on the forum did them for me for a favour.

Cheers

Darren

I thought I would bring this to the front cos its been ages, basically i have put some more money into it has my thoughts about putting money into a new passat cc where drop kicked into touch by

my daughter she didn't like it

So I found some cheapy's on the bay mainly a new mk6 climate panel, I now have fully working climate and auto air recirculation with visual display on the rns510

I also had the gti lowers colour coded plus I now have Jays old eddy30 splitter on and some GT sport grilles

Nice door reflection after Chip detailed it

Been detailed by Chip20

Also fitted all the door exit warning lights but with a twist, instead of them coming on individually they now come on with the footwell lights and can be turned off or dimmed with the footwell lights through the highline :happy2:

The rubbish accelera tyres have now been ditched and replaced with Toyo proxes px4's which are very good both wet and dry.

Cheers

Darren

Your Golf is just amazing Darren. Very tasteful mods as always  :notworthy:

How much is the new climate? Do you need the new LED Rns510 C? If so how much do they cost too?

Cheers Nasir :happy2:

Carlo thank you buddy I think as long has you have firmware 1100 and above the climate should show on the screen?  All I have done to fit it is buy the climate which cost me     £50    then swapped a couple of wires on the back of the climate and bought the new trim.

Looks really good Darren.  I notice you've gone back to a Mk5 sterring wheel?
