MFD2 Headunit Removal for Aux input?

Hi guys,

I need some help! Ive got the MFD2 satnav headunit, and want to be able to have Aux connectivity, Ive bought the correct cable for it but now need to take the unit out so i can plug the cable in and somehow wire it through? Any help, i have literally no idea where to start....

I would need to wire the AUX cable through somewhere, preferably in the centre console as it will be for my phone? Is this easy to do?

The install's pretty straightforward, you can find the part on eBay. Then all you have to do is plug in the input into the back of the MFD2 unit in the quad lock.

I have bought the part needed, how do i go about wiring through the cable to somewhere in the cockpit?

Remove the ashtray and route the cable up behind the climate control panel to the headunit
