My 2nd tune was a custom tune and the Tuner was unable to get my oem lpfp to raise above 4.0bar because the original oem LPFP was tired. This tuner requested I did the TTRS and a Torqbyte PM3 and then he easily achieved a 5.5bar actual at load and full duty cycle. (After over $1000usd spent, I later found out a new oem LPFP is all it needed.) Yes, the TTRS also makes the gauge never reach 'Full' and I run completely empty when the MFD says I have 5 miles to go before empty. At the time my tune was open loop so that the LPFP = 5.5bar and the HPFP = 142.5bar... and highly unusual requirements from all other off the shelf tunes.
I would suggest running what you have until your data shows that actual falls short of specified...and then stick with the latest oem has to offer. If you see the LPFP actual pressures begin to drop and separate from its target in the data, that is simply signs of pump age. Replace the oem with another one. LPFP upgrades are only needed for big turbo builds and custom tuning. A DW65V is a decent choice if wanting to do an upgrade into the oem basket, but it is unnecessary. Although it produces more volume, it is restricted and will not do any more than 15 amps provided and the pressure required by the control module. And so, the oem LPFP will do that.
I have also seen test results for the DW65v and another 265 LPH pump. Both are able to reach our regulated 6.6 bar with just 11 to 12 amps from our 15 amp circuit. I no longer use the custom tune and went back to the GIAC K04 H.O. tune. My GIAC K04 H.O. tune has a 140 bar rail pressure target and runs great with the just the oem LPFP. My original oem LPFP ran fine until it tired and is running great now. I have eliminated the TTRS and the Torqbyte PM3 because the pump upgrade is hype and the PM3 additional amps aren't needed. The only gains you get from them is proper or required pressure when your oem LPFP has tired and an oem replacement or an upgrade such as TTRS or DW65v only gets your pressure back to its target. No additional HP comes from it.
