Tyre Repair?
« on: July 09, 2015, 10:35:42 pm »
Found a flat tyre when returning to car this evening.

Pumped it back up with compressor and found the puncture using soapy water. Just seems to be a dent/ hole in the tyre (I imagine a nail or similar must be in there?)

Do you think this can be repaired? Are repairs safe or better to go for a new Eagle F1? I've still got 5mm of tread on there which is annoying!

hello i work in a garage and the only area you are allowed to repair is the center inner of the Tyre as shown in image below as it is unsafe to repair both edges
and yours is in that case not repairable, needs new Tyre
hope this helps

 :sad1:

Well that's annoying. Thank you for your help though, I'll whip the spare on in the morning (yay for space savers) and head over to the tyre place.

Thanks again!
