Parcel shelf trimmed?
« on: July 13, 2015, 08:03:24 pm »
Has anyone trimmed or payed somebody to trim they're parcel shelf?
I have an ed30 with half leather and the seats are lovely all door cards and armrest are leather and the headliner is a nice black textured material.
Then the parcel shelf looks like the carpet you would find on a halfords book box, which really bugs me.
I would love to do it in ed30 along with my armrest but I thinks there's only metres of the stuff left and unavailable to buy unless you have mega deep pockets.
So I was thinking leather or suede with red or white stitching?

Have done one in the past  Used plaid and fabric spray glue  No pics but I know who owns the car so maybe able to get a pic in a day or two   To save on the fabric you could just do the recess and leave the raised surround plain.  Have seen a few nice ones quilted

If you could get a pic that would be great! I'm not looking to spend silly money on it as it's not like I've got a fully custom trimmed interior just wanting to bring it up to the standard of the rest of the interior.
