Fuel Cuts with standard pump
« on: July 20, 2015, 12:24:37 pm »
at 140mph on private i'm getting Fuel cuts and wondered if anyone else was getting same on standard LPFP.

Running revo KO4 converted software on HPFP is loba.

have heard the  TTRS has had issues with overheating and needing to get the duty cycle configured to combat it and also the DW drop in unit was causing some people issues.

anyone know  (if there is one) the general life cycle of the LPFP?

The early LPFPs could over heat and were uprated by VW a bit further down the line.  The newer pump housing one has no lid basically, which must be how they solved the overheating issue!

i thought it was the controller that overheats rather than the pump

Could be.  I know on the US forums it was the pump itself mentioned mainly, cause they do very long journeys across states.   I changed the pump to the revised one with the old controller, no issues since.  I also have the Loba and Stage whatever Ed30.

I get fuel cuts, car jerks and stutters under WOT, even stalls if I keep it WOT. Changed lpfp to deatcshwerks and still happens, maybe controller next.
