After months and months of looking for a good Edition 30 with low miles, all the spec etc i wanted, i started looking at Mk6 GTis realising that for not much more money i could get a much more modern, nicer car.

As standard theyre specced better than a Mk5 so options wise i only really wanted Xenons. Obviously decent mileage, mint condition, FSH etc!

Came across this Candy White one and had bought it within a few days.

Its a 2010 with just 31000 miles, Full VW Service History and 1 Previous owner.

It has optional Xenons, touch screen media 3 and also full heated leather interior.

Came with some aftermarket extras recently fitted including full BCS turbo back system, Revo intake, KW Coilovers, WALK kit, genuine LED tailights, Genuine LED number plate lights, Anthracite Monzas, black wrapped roof, black painted mirrors and gloss black badges.

Here it is when i bought it;

Fitted the LED rears i got with it and coded with VCDS

Took the vinyl off the roof then gave it a proper clean inside and out

After a clean inside

Steam clean under the bonnet

Gave it a polish (not like me)

Then i stuck a stage 2 map on it as it has the hardware for it, and the EML was on due to being de-catted. So thats sorted that.

Gave it a lube service with VW filter

Thats as far as its got so far... Will update as anything changes or i take pics. I havent even really used it yet. Its my Sunday car that i'll be keeping good, and dry if possible. :)

Im hunting high and low for 19" CKs as thats what i really want for it, but im struggling.

Other than that i will just use and enjoy it, if i keep it until next year i will go stage 3- K04, intercooler and uprated clutch. Then itll be the power i was after and in a nicer car!

Looking forward to keeping an eye on this!

How do you find the BCS? Is it the powervalve version?

Also the Revo intake? Do you like it?  :happy2:

Thanks for comments.

BCS isnt powervalve, its nice and subtle when driving normally and then has a pretty serious bark when you give it some.

Revo intake seems ok, cant hear much noise off it because of exhaust noise when wide open!

Looks like a great project - must admit, it looks so much better without the black roof. I think that mod has been done to death...
Enjoy your new car - look forward to future updates!

Looking good mate, although I must admit personally I still prefer the MK5 shape. Look forward to seeing more work done to this though, I imagine you'll need some new brakes soon.

Thanks. Yeh probably because every Corsa on the road has a black roof.

Dont get me wrong, i love a cool Mk5 but if you put one alongside a Mk6 they do look dated now.

Hopefully use it at some point this weekend!

Tbh, your car is very similar spec to an Ed35 with the black wing mirrors, lights, interior.

Do you know if your exhaust tips ar e@ 15 or 35 degrees?  :ashamed:

Yeh your right, doesnt look any different now really.

Hmm id say they are more than 15 degrees so must be 35. I have new BCS polished tips if you are interested..

Did you do the conversion? What you all use? Convert TFSI turbo? Intercooler upgrade?

Im going to struggle to resist buying one soon, my last car was a 370bhp TFSI S3 so im missing the power!
