Someone mentioned port-matching the K04, so although it will likely make little/ no difference- i done it anyway since it was off.

Unitronic diverter valve relocation kit arrived from US so fitted that and the Forge boost pipes so its ready for the K04 to be fitted.

Pancake pipes look super restrictive compared to Forge pipes so im well happy i changed them, and im sure it goes a bit better now too. Hopefully help a lot when its running more boost with K04.

Changed the oil and filter again, another VW filter and some Gulf VW spec oil.

Had to change my tyres from the Goodyears back to the Falkens as the rim protector was so huge on the Goodyears that it fouled the rear arch very slightly when loaded up. Although both 225, the Goodyear was 10mm wider! How stupid.

Goodyear:

Falken

Ordered a Helix Organic clutch today, hopefully be here in a week or so..

How do you rate the Falkenham? I need to get a new set soon and can't make up my mind. I think they definitely look better with less of a rim protector.

Falkens are pretty good tyres IMO they don't have the grip of Goodyear or Michelin etc but they are still pretty good
I don't buy them for the performance tho I buy them for the way they stretch so if you like to push your car then get a get something better

Love how the car is coming along Gaz makes me want to get some 19's now!

Fitted a Forge catch can/ PCV delete kit as the PCV is bad for failing and causing trouble.

Gained a hesitation at 2500rpm and sourced it to a bad connection and a spark plug/ coil.

2 of the old plugs, clear to see the dodgy one!

New uprated NGK Double Iridium plugs as specified by APR for stage 3 K04

Eventually got round to fitting the K04 :D

Thankfully my modified compressor outlet pipe is PERFECT! Length and angle is spot on, Thank fck. Made making up a boost pipe between turbo and Forge outlet pipe easy!

Now up and running and i need to get an APR stage 3 map on it ASAP!
