What's the market like at the mo?

I would say that the car is VERY keenly priced - in fact doing a lot to drop the price of other GTIs!!!

As others have said - the WORST month to be selling a car, or anything for that matter. Nobody has any money.

If I was being picky, whilst the car is A1 condition, the pics could be taken in a better place - looks like an industrial estate/unit. I might put buyers off, as there is no reference to a home etc.... Daft, I know, but I had the same issue with my S4 when I was selling.
Changed the pics for a more desirable location, and got loads more interest...

A few possible suggestions for the write up which may attract a discerning buyer is to emphasise some of the good selling points about the cars history if you can ... e.g.

If it was originally UK dealer supplied say so (they know it's not an import then)  
How many previous owners ? ... if low, say so
How long have you had the car ... if quite a few years says so etc..
Has it had a full service history ?  and all at VW ?  .. a big plus point .. make a big deal of this
