Wouldn't make a difference.

I need someone to check THEIR car and report back so I can compare notes.

Do you have a MK6 and a power probe and are willing to help?

Sorry thought you were asking for someone to come to you - I shouldn’t skim read.

We've all done it. :happy2:

I might have explained a bit better in fairness to avoid confusion but never entered my head that someone would read it that way!

In case anyone is curious, I'm getting Fault 000256, have replaced the sensor with a known good item and the problem persists so i'm thinking a break in the wire somewhere. I've peeled back the outer sheath and checked but there are no obvious signs of damage. All 3 terminals are showing Green (earth/ground) with a power probe when unplugged, wire 2 & 3 are showing green (earth/ground) when plugged in with wire 1 showing nothing.

I'm sure one should be red (live) when plugged in and the ignition on.

Looking to confirm this theory if anyone has a spare few minutes and wouldn't mind checking theirs.
