Well, been a member on here for a while, and possessed many a VW marque along the way.
Two years ago happened across this MK5 Golf, and knew instantly what it was. Having seen it for sale many years previously on a car lot in Gtr Manchester. Short chat and quick drive over to Yorkshire and was soon driving it home………….

Did not know this was a thing... I can imagine that may be an investment further down the line.

No Bobby, it’s a 2.0tdi 1 of 50 the other 50 were 2.0 petrol non turbo.

nice one, I have seen one N/A 2.0 FSI at the Wolfsburg museum.

It blows my mind as it have almost all the cool things of the MK5 from factory:

- R32 rear lights
- Side skirts with the vehicle color
- R32 rear bumper

A little more work to tweak the Orange 49.



New inlet manifold, egr delete and Pro Ram intake…..

So…….. it’s been a while, and I’ve been busy!
Much has been going on with the Orange Speed.








Due to a broken drivers side bumper hanger, opted to go for a replacement. So while it was off and being painted had the front end re-aligned and new xenon’s fitted.

Update on the interior too. Orange panels and some embroidery was added  :sick:
So had them returned to OEM spec with the help of Seamline……

I’ve attended a couple of shows already this year, and plans for some more in the pipeline…..
Ultimate dubs and Auto Culture. Also started an Instagram page to show the whole build from start, and also how it continues to progress
