One of my Favourite pics ever  :notworthy:

Edition 30 perfection IMO.

Please dont say its a GTI    ….Im just saying they keep the original look with the 19" CHs, and add a touch of lowering to make a stunning car even better looking

I also think the CKs look stunning as ED30 wheels.  :innocent:

I agree... almost...
I doubt it is a ED 30 by looking at the rear valance (painted GTI one vs Individual Design/R Line/ED 30 one) but the car really looks stunning!

VMR 701?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

These were 2012's Winter wheels but i ended up getting them powder coated after the finish decided it no longer wanted to stick to the wheel, shame as i liked the polished / burnished look of the A8 Competitions.

This was at the end of last winter just before i refitted my refurbed Pescara's.

I'm on the look out for something new but really dont know what i fancy just yet..... Pirelli editions maybe? whatever i go for it'll be in 5 spoke you can be sure.... I just have a thing for 5 spoke wheels.... Maybe even the new mk6 GTI wheels? Mmmmm

Oh, Currently I have Audi A3 s-line / sport rims on the car but no pics just yet

The Pescaras look awesome mate  :congrats:

Have you thought about Audi FAT Fives?

Thank You!

I've looked for the fat fives for quite some time but they're old wheels now and getting hold of them in good to excellent condition is like searching for hens teeth, I bought a set on evilbay 2 years ago but two of them were hairline cracked and all were so heavily pitted and would have been too much work to sort so they went back..... should have known better that to buy wheels on there which were listed as "Very Clean Condition" and had blurry pictures :stupid:

Then I got gazumped on a set on ED38 last year, another failure...... so I'm "Not looking" for those in the hope some just turn up out of the blue
I might put up a swap's add for some but they'd have to be really good nick to swap for the pescaras. I'm also keen on the RS6 style S-Line wheels but again, they often require a lot of work to get in good condition and they still command a good price.

Yeah I know what you are saying.

You learn from your mistakes  :ashamed:

The RS6 alloys look really good.  It's worth buying genuine VAG wheels though.

A lot of reps will bend when you look at them lol.

Liking your winter wheels too mate  :happy2:

I know what you mean about the rep's Monte, I had an A4 before the golf and bent 2 cheap wheels driving slowly over a road repair, I vowed there and then never to waste money on replica wheels again, I'm even dubious about some of the aftermarket wheels available by so called reputable companies.... VAG/Merc all the way!

It's not like there isn't much choice :happy2:
