Hi Keano, are you running sports spring with standard shocks?if so how do find the handling coping with the above mods?

Yes I am. The shocks are fine and it handles very well. (much better than standard anyway).

I still find it rolls abit round corners. But I'm not sure what I should buy to combat this  :chicken:

I'm also running asimilar set up,H&R springs on stock shocks and still just wanting a little bit more! I've been advised to fit antirole bar to the rear and this should do the job

Hey Keano I've been reading that you have been using statlers in sheff for your mods,do you recommend them? this is not far from me living in Doncaster and my air con compressor decided to blow up yesterday and I'm having nightmares that it will cost a fortune! :sad1:

If you look at Hurdy's build thread, I think he used Statlers a lot for his car too. :driver:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Yeah I use Statllers. I have every confidence in them, especially as they both have modified edition 30's.  :happy2:

Where abouts in the Don are you from?  :drinking:

Removed the stone chipped/ fading chrome VW badge today and wrapped it with some 3M Carbon Vinyl.  :happy2:

I promised myself I wouldn't use anything but real carbon on this car, but i guess it's only a little bit
