I quite like that, not in Red though   (sorry Robin :P)

No doubt as with all Audi's you can whack another £20k of options on top

On Audi's website its got the standard spec on there now - it mentions the buckets seats as an optional extra but nothing else

http://www.audi.co.uk/new-cars/a3/rs3-sportback/specifications.html

Id imagine it would be simular to the options you get on the TTRS:

Sports Exhaust: £760
Bucket Seats £1950
Aluminium Styling Pack £650
Exclusive RS Multifunctional Wheel £760
Audi Magnetic Ride £1150
Optional 20" Wheels £2045

And thats not even all of them!

Might not be the same on the RS3 but i wouldnt of thought it was too far off

Further evidence that VW take the piss for the same Bucket Seat option for the .:R But think that charging £3250 is fine.. Absolute f***ing joke IMO!  :stupid:

Depends on whether the standard RS3 seats are £1K better than the standard Golf R seats :signLOL:

^^^^^

And i was sooooooo very nearly the first person to make a comparison to the Golf .:R but changed my mind

Having just looked over the Standard Spec. Nothing Springs to mind that i would want on top. So i'd just save the money for Options and chuck it at REVO & Miltek

If they do that Car in Daytona Grey i'll be very very tempted

That is outrageous

I wonder if its because the RS' come with Leather Half buckets as standard where as the R20's standards are cloth? Therefore make the upgrade to Full buckets cheaper in the Audi range?

What do you mean? If we're comparing the upgrade cost of the buckets, then the higher cost of the VW items would suggest the standard seats are of lesser quality than the Audi equivalents... and as such the cost to upgrade them on the Golf would be greater.

.
One thing for sure though is that when you sit behind the wheel of an Audi (thinking of Stu's fully loaded S3 Sportback), you have luxury and performance. The luxury feeling at least reminds you that you've got something for your money and makes you feel very successful.

Having said that, I love my more basic Mk5 GTI interior just as much... It's just different.

Maybe, but the mere fact you don't get leather in a £30k range topping Golf is a joke on it's own..
Same with the S3..
S3 = £1750
Golf R = £3230  :stupid:

They do, but you then have to take out of the equation the cost of the standard seats. They're not selling them as standalone items...
