Get yourself down to Costco where I picked up 4L of Edge at £24.00 last month  :happy2:

^^This  :happy2:

Bought myself 12 litres of the stuff

Not everyone can get a Costco card though.

I bought from amazon and the ad states that it meets Volkswagen 504 00 / 507 00 standards  only £3.49 more a tub

They really are'nt that picky who can sign up tbh mate, pop down with a payslip and company id card etc and a utility bill and they'll normally sign you up  :happy2:

Worth it for the hotdogs alone imo

You don't need FST. It's a slight tweak to the recipe and doesn't make the pavlova taste noticeably different.
as you say my pavlova probably wont know any different, they are always tweaking the oils to say the new ones are the bees knees and probably what they have done here tbh, chances are there will be NO DIFFERENCE.
I needed oil quickly and after finding out it was 5w30 I should be using  :ashamed: I just bought the best one, I knew the other one was available at that price but as I said I just bought the better one.
next time will prob just buy the non fst one as you say,,, what is the difference in the 2 oils - man I dunno - got bored reading their web site.

I don't meet the employment type or qualifications that they list but then it would depend on the person at the desks discretion

I still have a makro card from my old job so normally bulk buy from them

man I keep forgetting to go in and when I do I get told I need to renew my membership as its due every year at £10 so I get stumped on that every bloody time.
the biggest thing that annoys me about that shop is the fact you cannot pay by credit / debit card, only American bloody express because they have obviously signed a deal with them,,,,, that,s a suicidal way to run a business

Maby not a good idea then as I hardly carry cash any impulse buys are done with my debit card or credit card if I feel that I need the extra protection

The one for £28 is what everyone's been using for years with no problems and is for our engines. The FST one seems to be a newer version of the £28 one but tbh I wouldn't pay the extra

I'd agree, as long as it conforms to VW 504.00 or 507.00 they could print a cock and balls on the bottle for all i care

Love it!

Got the badge finished and fitted. Sorry it's so dirty but you get the idea. Colour match is pretty good.

Thanks for all the great comments Everyone  :ashamed: :ashamed: :ashamed:
All the inspiration has come from this forum in one way or another.  :notworthy:

When I first got the Ed30 I was very naive about car care, and I even remember telling people that all I planned to do mod wise was lower it.  :ashamed:

After seeing some amazing cars, it didn't take long before the modding bug set in.

I REALLY wish I'd have started a build thread years ago.  :sad1:

Anyway.....

Carlo what did you use to stick the magnets on?

Also what what width magnets did you use? 12/18mm?

And have you stuck some felt like cloth on the back of the plate?

Poundland is your friend when doing this mod, I can tell you  :happy2:

All these items were...guess what??? Yep £1 each  :jumpmove:

I used the Araldite Epoxy to stick the magnets to the plate and the back of the grill.

All the magnets were 18mm wide  :happy2:

The felt I used was the white self adhesive felt that comes in the Poundland pack of Surface Protector Pads

How strong were the magnets you got? I dont have a poundland near me so just looking to get something similar on ebay

Smoothed and wrapped my number plate plynth today

Didn't realise how hard wrapping was. Took 2 attempts and its not perfect but it's as close as I can get it for now.
