had a great drive thru helmsley, thirsk, pickering and scarbrough over the north york moors to whitby and back again. about 200 miles total and brilliant weather! :driver:


then when i got home fixed the rattling handbrake. had to take the whole damn arm rest unit out to get to the bit that was rattling

So this is how my 1st day of Spring Break ended yesterday. Those poor people in Daytona Beach and Palm Springs are so HOT they can barely stand to wear any clothing ;]







And still no call from the shop saying "You can come and pick up your VW".

Bought Autotech internals. Just need to fit along with my RS4 vavle, my BCS exhaust next week and im ready for mapping.  :happy2:

Fitted new wiper blades and pollen filter. Quantum oil, filter and fuel filter change getting done tomorrow. :happy2:
I ignored the advice about putting a sheet of paper under the pollen filter and got rewarded with a small compost heap in the footwell! :ashamed:

Got in a wash wash and wax (using Megs Final Inspection quick detailer as the prep for the wax) what with the good weather  :party: and the hose pipe ban looming  :sad1:

i gave the OHs mk5 a wash and wax with Autoglem super resin polish, shes happy :star:

Few days late but I arranged for my new wheels to go in for powdercoating. Should be back and on the car in a few weeks  :pomppomp:
