Today we had a small brake upgrade on the oil burner. From Cupra/S3/R32 to some AP 6 pots with 343mm discs. Should make for some  :driver: or

....Ah yes. I knew there was a reason I bought an expensive carbon bonnet

Good point  :happy2: Thanks.

Yeah they do look nice (main reason I got them!) and stops pesky tea leafs  too! Yes more so RR!! Got them from Halfords, £5.99 and you get 2 black, 2 silver and 2 yellow screws, Allen key and the locking 2 pin head.

I've got those bad boys too. They are good, but they do fade quite a bit over time. I've got a new set waiting to go on to replace the old ones.

I got a revision G DV fitted today in the hope it would cure my problems. It certainly seems to have done the trick!    The old original '05 DV was well split! The car is driving nicely again, it feels great!  Paid £60 for labour and £38 for the part itself at my local indy. Is that about average for price?

think its ok.

i paid about £45 i think for DV but fitted myself (wilth my bros help) took about 40 mins

actually i prefered it when it was split for the noise  i love the turbo sound but prefer the speed  :jumping:

Thanks. Mine is actually quite quiet now compared to how it always used to be. I heard that people liked the rev g dv because it made a louder noise, but mine is much quiter than my original dv!

Hmm I'm not sure what mine is. Is there really a noticeable difference from say Rev D to G? Anyone notice a difference?

Got back from Afghanistan on Thursday  :jumpmove: Checked to see when my MOT is due, oops runs out today!

Booked in for Tuesday so car not going anywhere.

Rear windscreen wiper motor has packed up, not part of the MOT test from what I can see! Just in case I removed it and fitted a bung to the hole left by the spindle.

Bung prices, Halfords £1.78 for one! Wickes £1.58 for ten :happy2:

Fingers crossed she will pass.
